Heesang the soldier SOLDIER

Now, you and I both know we're not gonna miss heesang when he enters the army next monday.

It's okay, it's all cool.

Hell no it's not. Shit.

It's the first freaking monday of the year and I'd be bald standing in an auditorium full of other bald male individuals sailing off to an island with MORE other bald male individuals. How fun could that be?

Amongst all other tragedies, the worst part is the loss of freedom.

I always claimed myself to be a free person. Free soul (maybe not), free mind (okay maybe not), free body (ah...what?)

Now all these regulations and orders. Sigh... As much as I wish to disobey like I would in the education world, I have no choice but to comply.

I guess it's a sort of a consolation that I'd be in PES C, as well as that I'd be serving the army in Singapore and not Korea in the first place.

I can take the physical pressure. It's no biggie I mean how hard could it be? I won't DIE right? I hope.

It's the damn fact that it's gotta be so damn early that totally paralyzes my whole damn 2010 calender.

I know I told myself I should stop swearing but this is fucking ridiculous.

Oh and speaking of which, why do I get this impending omen of doom of my A levels results repeating that of my O levels?

Okay now whoever read that last sentence should be going

"FUCK thank's for reminding me of that son of a cunt"

Well yeah. Always a pleasure to worsen the day of a friendly visitor of my blog.

Of course, if there ARE any in the first place...

Anyway that was me whining about the Singapore National Service.

I'd be in next monday, so much less blogging (yay) and much less hearing from me I guess.

If you wish to contact me to know about the NS life and how you want to sabotage the drinking system so that we all get sick and take a week off or just maaybe maaaaybe
curious about how I am doing, then do so via my handphone: 90107593

I mean it's not like NS would NOT be fun or anything and like pfft... yea I mean it's not like I need any good luck smses or anything I mean come on that's like pfft... ahaha! It's not even funny come on... pfftt... who needs that...

pfffft....

Frankly I have no idea how many people visit my blog cos the damn counter is spoilt I think.

Ah fuck

Care more, hurt more.

I seriously can't afford to hurt. But can I afford to hurt her?

Definitely not.

It's not that I want to compare myself with him, but seriously, sometimes you make it hard not to.

I don't know. Sometimes I just don't know you see.

What the hell am I talking here no one even reads this blog anymore Jesus Christ get a life heesang

Love is a funny thing

Love. Can't explain it in words, never.

But this four letter word and my actions shall do the talking.

Forever and always, if that's okay with you.

The person laughs through the lips but the soul laughs through the eyes.

Your eyes...

I'll make sure they laugh for eternity.

I'll make sure you're happy for eternity.

Sigh......

Yeah you're right.
You care more, you hurt more.
Definitely.
I'm still gonna care though.
Because frankly it doesn't matter anymore.
I rather hurt than hurt you.

But I'm quite sure I can be the MOST.
Not your best

Love and Lust

Aaron and I had a talk about Love vs Lust a few days back at his place.

How does one differentiate the two? How do you tell if a person lusts for a person or truly loves the person?

Lust maybe I'll write about it some other time, but in the meantime...

What is love?

I define love as caring and liking a person more than yourself. Not someone you'd give an arm for, but all four limbs + anything else that person needs. That's love, well, in my books anyways.

Love's about sacrifice. What are you willing to give up for the person? How much are you willing to give up for the person?

Almost everything? Everything?

Yes, tons of rhetorical questions, maybe because I myself don't have the answers to them.

But I do know one thing for sure.

Love, yeah maybe it's different however you define it it's gonna be very arbitrary. BUT, what I do know is that,

I AM willing to give my everything to this one girl.

I AM loving her in my books at the very least.

Thursday, November 5, 2009

I love you

What is the matter; you try to give your everything, but things just don't work out.

You want to give your everything, but it's just not enough.

You want to give your everything, but you're just not strong enough.

What happens... when you love someone to death

but all you show her is otherwise?

I'll be good I promise.

I'll make you happy and I'll make it worth loving a lousy douchebag like me.

Physics, anti-matter

When a low-energy positron collides with a low-energy electron, annihilation occurs, resulting in the production of two or more gamma ray photons

Why is H2 Nuclear Physics negating such intriguing information? =(

In School

I miss you more than ever.

Love

You know why they use the expression, "falling in love"?

Because love, like falling, you get hurt sometimes.

But I guess I don't really mind falling anymore.

Race

Each step I take towards you, my mind says no but my heart says yes.

Alas, we've finally reached the final lap, no, final 100 metres of the Junior College race. The last hurdle we face in the two year course, the big As, is finally in sight.

But I can't help but look back.

And realise.

Maybe there are more important things in this world than this race.

I'm just gonna have to compete in another one.

Computer Dating - Jo Phillips

I saw you as a neutral stranger,
shut away, blinds drawn,
but you've become me, part of me,
with my passions and ideas
scrawled across your face.

Sometimes you withhold from me
and I rage and threaten
asking more from you
than you can give:
I turn my back on you
and switch off.

Now on better terms
we'll make a compromise:
I'll not try and rush you,
go leaping ahead
but will follow instructions
to the dot ...

And you'll allow me
to scroll back pages,
review and ponder
electric encounters,
rewrite our story
in Brackets and Bold

Half-Time

Friday marked the first half of the oh-so-arduous Prelim 2 examinations.

Now coming in the first half analysis:

GP was alright I guess, except for the comprehension which was a killer (Thinking about it, the comprehension section actually takes up half of the marks awarded so in fact GP WASN'T alright =.=)

Maths was deadly. Pressed for time.

Chemistry was a little GG-fied, same reason basically.

Physics was uhm, unpredictable. So... yeah.

The difference between God and Satan is that God's stronger

I'm not happy, God.

I AM PISSED.

If you're just gonna roll a dice pick a card take a number and kill off random people, at least pick those fucking ones that deserve to die. Or can afford to die.

And cancer? Rather shitty way to die isn't it?

I can't intervene with whatever you do, I mean if you do exist to do whatever that you do, but I'm just raising my opinion about it. Smite me if you want to. Don't really give a shit at this moment. Just don't hurt other people.

She's a nice person. I liked her.

Weird though. For someone it's terminal. 3 months to live, that's what the doctor said. But to us its still the same. Pity, condolence, but still, life goes on. I still study for my prelims, I still watch my youtube videos, I still go about doing all my usual shit. I mean, was death really this miniscule?

If I had to die in place of any person that I knew and liked, I'd gladly do it. Because I really don't mind dying. No big deal anyway. Sometimes I feel that death is more of a bigger deal to people around the dying than the dying himself.

Maybe that's why they say suicide is a selfish escape.

I guess it is.

Friend

I've lost a good friend.

Had him since primary school. One of my best friends since secondary school.

We had good times, bad times, pulled them through.

But now we just faded away, mostly my fault.

Devastating.

Not nice

Ah man... feels terrible when you didn't know your friend's birthday or forgot about it and shit.

Damn

Find Me an Escape Route

What I got in return for slacking off during my O levels wasn't just a slip of paper filled with Bs instead of the As that I got for prelims. It was far beyond that.

As much as I'd like to think so and still do, I'm way better than many of these uncultured, uncouth dim-wits. So with so much contempt for these group of people, what's the worse that can happen to me? Being placed right in the middle of them. Besieged by the crowd of useless imbeciles. And being forced to socialise with them, now THAT, that's just torture.

But I gritted my teeth and I tried, and as much as I did, well, it just got worse. But like all overcast days, there'll always lies a silver lining; I guess I'd still manage to find a few truly "better" friends. I thank, the holy entity that many claims that he exists, for that.

Obviously not everyone will agree on me upon this matter, and meh... It's not like I give a damn about people that just... don't matter at all.

On a brighter note, I like Taylor Swift so whatcha gonna do about it? ;)

End of Parley

Touche.

Saturday, August 22, 2009

That animal riddle really got me thinking for a while.

Life's full of could've-beens and would've-beens. We could've been friends. We would've been friends. But no. Didn't turn out that way did it now?

Loathe me? Take a number and get in the line, seriously. I'm not saying I'm not a likeable person. No, that's way too much of an understatement. I'm a fucken hate-able asshole.

I have my ideals and beliefs, but I don't judge a person by them. Not especially when I already know the person well enough, no. But to some people paranoia sets in, I have no idea why, and take them as an offence directed at them. Now, I'm not blaming those people, but come on seriously, that's rather naive don't you think?

I don't hate people because of what they are. I hate people because of what they do. Let me just break that down now. I hate dogs who go around other people's backs and trash-talk the fuck outta them. I hate cunts who make false accusations about other people without proper grounds. But I don't hate gays, I don't hate Jews, I don't hate blacks, I don't hate whites, I don't hate whatever the fuck the person can be. General dislike yes, not hate. Especially not when (like i said already) I know the person already.

For crying out loud my favourite singer of all times is Freddie Mercury. UNLIKE childish, insensible, moronic people that seem to be somehow all around me all the damn time, I don't judge a fucking person with a snap of a finger. So what the hell. What the hell.

Sounds like an extremely irritating complaint from a fat lady calling customer service. Sounds like an absurd excuse a five year old fabricated for his mom to hear about how he didn't break her vase. Yeah, yeah I get that. Just.... Try to see beyond everything sometimes.

Beyond relationships. Beyond OTHER PEOPLE (yes you know who I'm talking about). Beyond sexualities. Beyond beliefs. Beyond hearsays (don't even get me started on this).

As I have recently found out, I had the honour of being "featured" in one's blog a numerous times. So this is just a kind reply to everything I guess.

I'm just probably gonna get a whole lot flaming for this I presume, but I really don't mind. =)

WOOOO

Just when I thought this feeling of mine was long lost sucked into a blackhole or fallen into an abyss ever since childhood. Just when I thought I'd never be able to feel this ecstatic deliriousness, I just did.

Well, maybe that's a little exaggerating. But still, my heart did skip a beat today.

Em's BACK!

Eminem's new Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon diss is dope.

All Eminem fans are to give it a listen. The title's called Warning.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mp1Q6nYoI80

Beware of explicit lyrics and content. =)

For those who are wondering why Eminem's dissing Mariah Carey (besides the fact that Eminem is a misogynist and hates half the world population), this feud between the two happened 8 years ago, when Eminem claimed that they had been dating while Mariah denied the allegation. So Eminem got pissed off and started dissing Mariah in songs such as Bagpipes From Baghdad and sublimal implications in numerous others, and recently Mariah dissed back with a song called Obsessed which tells a story about a man (implied Eminem) being obsessed with her and can't seem to be able to forget her. Of course, Eminem flips and writes this song Warning, which in my opinion is a much better diss than Obsessed. Well, obviously because Eminem's not only a rapper, but he's the best there is.

At least after 2Pac died. So here's Obsessed, which I think parts of Warning's lyrics would make more sense after watching this video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTbGtyBgwNY&feature=related

Obsessed:

"Why you so obsessed with me?
Boy I want to know, lyin' that you're sexing me.
When everybody knows, it's clear that you're upset with me.
Ohh, finally found a girl that you couldn't impress,
Last man on the earth, still couldn't get this."

Warning:

"Only reason I dissed you in the first place is because you denied seeing me
Now I’m pissed off
Sit back and relax homey, kick back and relax, grab a six pack while I kick s
Yeah Dre’s sick track, perfect way to get back
Wanna hear something wick wack?
I got the exact same tattoo that’s on Nick’s back
I’m obsessed now
Oh gee, is that supposed to be me in the video with the goatee
Wow Mariah, I didn’t expect her to go balls out
Bitch, shut the fu*ck up before I put all them phone calls out you "

Just some random story

One day this man bumped into the devil while walking home from work. He looked up at the devil and the devil smiled at him diabolically, proposing a deal.

'Bring me the heart of your mother, and I'll give you whatever you want in the entire universe,' the devil said. The man was shocked at first, but indeed ANYTHING IN THE UNIVERSE was quite a tempting offer. Finally, the man gave in and accepted the proposition.

So he went back to his house and stabbed his mother, took out her heart and ran out frantically to find the devil with the heart in one hand. However, on his way back he tripped over a stone and fell, and the heart rolled across the floor. He got up furiously and went over to pick the heart up.

And the heart said to the man: "Son, are you alright?"

Elbow lick

There are more people that can lick their own elbows than those that don't try it themselves after reading about it.

My own theory anyway.

Heesang's being a bitch again Oh No.

I can literally see who's gonna make it who's not. And as much as I'd like to spill the beans, I won't. I'd much rather savour this.

I'm lovin' it. Especially because I see your name at the top of my list. =) That's a first huh? Being TOP. Don't get used to it though.

Laugh

When a dumbass tries to act smart, it's just hilarious at first, and then pity kicks in.

Agreed with Aaron on the comparison with this group of imbeciles. Obnoxious as it sounds, it's true.

His Maserati and Porsche and those other cars are doing well and stuff. Yeah, finding his house quite comfortable nowadays, maybe because I go there like every other week.

Church tomorrow. Half a mind to skip it. Damn.

Thursday, July 30, 2009

It's like insomnia woohoowoo, It's like insomnia woohoowoo wooo.

Insomnia strikes back. It's 2:00, and I can't sleep.

That's a good thing though. A great thing actually. Because sleep is the last thing I need at a time like this. If only I wasn't so damn tired at the same time.

Nevertheless, it's not like I study my ass off or anything like that. Mostly it's just YouTube videos after videos, MSN conversations after conversations. Quite unproductive, yes, but I don't think I can do anything about that.

Speaking of which, it's amazing how some people are just so stubbornly dim-witted. Pitiful, as I watch them, but at the same time just as hysterical. Like I always like to say, those are the people that seriously take stupid to a whole nother level. You know, those type of people that just pout and spit out whatever lowly vulgarities they know, partly because that's the only damn thing they know how to do, but at the same time because they don't understand what the hell you just said about them.

I guess it's mean to pick on retards, but ignorant retards we must pick on. Oh and I like to do so with a smirk on my face. =)

School's been great, had this conversation/debate with Kelvin about "fate", which of course, being the cynical sceptic that I am, do not believe in. However, what I do believe in are things like "God's Will" and stuff, but FATE? Kinda naive gotta say. But Kelvin did made me revisit some stuff and rethink about some shit, although my stand still stays. Besides, it's rather pessimistic and despairing to believe in fate isn't it? You're meant to be that way, no point trying to work yourself to change.

However like I said, those ignorant fools ARE fated to stay that way, unless one day they wake up and look in the mirror and realise how fucking dumb they look.

Imbeciles wasting my blog space. =)

Media Junk

Compare the Beatles, indisputably the greatest band known to mankind, to any shithole band that we have now. Like Falloutboy, or Simple Plan.

Compare 2pac, the most phenomenal rapper in history, to any hiphop-posers we have now. Like Lil' Wayne, or 50 cent.

Compare Tom Hanks, one of the best actors that I've seen, to the pretty faced good for nothing actors we have now. Like Megan Fox, or the Olsen twins.

What the hell is going on in the entertainment world nowadays? Why are we so blindly, indiscriminately and voraciously seeping in all these garbage they send out from MTV? And yet some of us seem to ENJOY this process. The end-products of a can't-be-bothered apathetic entertainer or producer. It's precisely because we are so magnanimous and accepting of such atrocities that they continue unabated.

Why do people head bang to mindless repetition of lyrics of Soulja Boy, waste their time watching New York Minute (many for the tiny bit of "shower scene")? Is it sheer bad taste or is it because we are just so saturated and intoxicated in the media junk that we are unaware of its heinousness?

But alas, at the same time, it's not all bad. We're not set out for doom yet. There's still this tiny glimpse of hope in today's entertainment biz.

There's Eminem to replace 2pac, probably one of the greatest lyricist ever lived.

There's Jason Mraz to strum his guitar making beautiful melodies much akin to those of the Beatles.

There's Shia Lebouf, also known as the young Tom Hanks, whose acting is quite commendable IMO.

Just hoping more of these come along soon.

Dopplegangers

It's been a while since I blogged about anything substantial or pragmatic. Time was not much of a constraint though. Mainly it's because when I blog, I blog rather spontaneously, and that "spontaneity" didn't come about much these few days. Well, it did, obviously, and thus here I am trying to write about something half the people that bother to type heesanginhu.blogspot.com into the explorer bar (or in many cases type "hee" and scroll down to find the appropriate address) don't want to or already know, assuming that the other half totally ignore any lengthy and convoluted posts.

Doppleganger. Some might've heard of them (or the effect, depending on your beliefs) some might have seen pictures. But I doubt anyone I know have encountered one before. Since the chances are one to a six billion thereabout.

Doppleganger, sometimes called Doublewalkers, are a true replicate of oneself living in some other part of the Earth. It is said that a doppleganger of a person would look exactly like the person him/herself, with even more identical physical traits than twins. So wow, great, a clone living in some other part of the world whom i'd never ever get to meet for the rest of my life, how interesting.

Well, according to the theory/myth (and this is the interesting part) you better hope you don't come across your doppleganger, because once you do, you'd DIE (yeap). There were numerous incidents in which these cases "occured" since the 17th century, and of course like any other myths, without any real visual proof.

There was also a Japanese film of the same title, and although I have not actually seen the movie, the plot goes that if a person meets his own doppleganger one of them has to die. This meaning that the two cannot co-exist with the knowledge of each other's existence.

They say that everyone has their "own" doppleganger. This was the part that really got me thinking. And doubting. And realising how STUPID this whole doppleganger thing was. Think about it. If everyone has their own doppleganger, that means that there are only about 3 billion people in the world, and the other 3 billion are just mere copies of them!

Now THAT doesn't make sense because if that's the case, the chances of bumping into someone that you know that looks like that other someone skyrockets. I cannot really do the math, but the chances are still pretty high. Assuming you travel a lot.

And then it got me thinking. What about all the famous people? Imagine you're a nigger living in the ghettos of Detroit. You pick up scrap metals for a living, smoke pot more than you respire, play ball and listen to rap songs. One day you walk by a TV store without robbing it, and you notice a nigger that looks just like you on a TV show. You stare closer and you squint your big ass nigger eyes. He looks just like you, and I mean it's he's so identical to you to the extent of being as if you're staring in the mirror instead of the TV screen. Except he's wearing a nice expensive suit that's probably worth more than your cardboard box (oops I mean house) and has his name being run across the screen as he speaks eloquently, giving his oratory. His name goes something like this.

Barack Obama.

Now assuming, although quite pretty much unlikely, you can read, and somehow overheard the news that Obama's the president of the United States, AND know that Detroit is actually part of America. What would be your next move? Obviously you'd publicise. Get some publicity, news coverage, shizz like that. Interviews in maybe shows like Oprah, and who knows what else.

The problem is, if every famous person has a doppleganger, then that's kinda wtf.

And like any other urban legend, there are scientists who entail, trying to find a "logical explanation" behind the phenomenon. Apparently dopplegangers are just false images, much like delusions due to a cock up in the brain. Then why did they all die after seeing their dopplegangers? I don't know. Must be a queer coincidence or just sheer bad timing. If you think about it, if you're sick and about to die, there's a pretty good chance your brain's probably messed up as badly.

That's about it for dopplegangers. Interesting?

Kim Jong-il is the leader of North Korea. He claims his country has obtained nuclear weaponry. He threatens the US with it. "Don't make me shoot you with my missiles" "Don't make me do it, because I will."

And then US goes, "Pfft yeah I'm scared."

Pfft yeah.

Fags

The fact that Perez Hilton's so well-liked (at least has sort of a fan-base) just goes to show how opened up our society, well not OUR society but the US society, has become towards fags. Ooo yeah fags.

There's obviously a huge difference in the way the society views fags and lesbos. Obviously the latter is well, sorta more accepted. And I'm not just talking about the fact that we don't have a gay white boy version of Ellen Degeneres yet. In fact, we do have Elton John. But then again he's just too damn rockin' good to shun just for his sexuality. Perez on the otherhand (although did not officially come out but it's so fucking obvious he's a fag) is quite a wonder because honestly speaking, gay or not gay, I just hate his face and he's seriously not good for anything except drawing circles in celebrity photos and scribbling some illegible words on it.

And apparently Will.I.AM was not really a big fan of him either. For those of you who didn't know, Will.I.AM and faggy boy got into some sort of a conflict, and which led to a tiny bit of violence. One of Will.I.AM's entourage crew member punched the fag or something and the fag decided, feeling threatened for his life, to twitter what happened on that very moment after the incident when he "ran" back to his hotel. I'm like wtf? That was what he actually said. I mean if an angry black man wants to punch my face the last thing I would be thinking of would be to TWITTER IT. If I even had a twitter account that is. Oh and then to top it off he posted a youtube video of him sobbing and whining and wailing and complaining about Will.I.AM for about 20 minutes. Seriously, if this guy doesn't declare gay in the next few years, I'd be surprised.

But back to the point. Why are lesbos treated better than gays? Because unlike what many claim that we have evolved, oh the society is a whole lot different now, it's still a male dominated world we're living in. THAT's why lesbos are prefered.

Imagine two girls making out in a park. No one's complaining. Heck, some douchebags might even jerk off to it. Now you get two guys doing the same thing. FUCK them faggots.

Fags or lesbos, people shouldn't be so uptight about other people's sexuality. Sure it's going against nature, going up the wrong holes and shit. GOD FORBID. But seriously, unless a gay homeless man tried to assfuck you forcefully in a dark alley and help only came by after 30 minutes, I don't think anyone should feel threatened or hatred against these people. Homos are human too.

Pfft yeah right.

People

There are people that like me (I hope) and there are people that don't. Right now I think the latter predominates in number. But honestly speaking, I'm not really the type to hold grudges, not because I forgive but because I forget. As time passes the fury I had at that moment against someone just sort of attenuates, and most of the time it doesn't take that much time. But I guess that's not the case for everyone.

Angry at me or not, I still think everyone should be treated the same.

On a brighter note, I think you have godly beautiful voice ZOMG

God

Having a lot of disputes lately with mom about God. She's the typical hardcore believer, and I was too. Was.

Well, I can't really say I had been a strong believer because I was always under the influence of my mom since birth to believe in God, say prayers, sing hymns, etc etc. So it was pretty much automatic and subconscious. But now, no. I'm not the same gullible boy no more.

God. The holy entity that created us all. And be it Christians, Buddhists or whatever the religion is, we all believe in this God being. Now we can ask ourselves; Why? Why do we believe in God? What IS God anyway? Where is he? How did he come about? Endless questions, boundless explanations.

As for the why, I think I have a clue. The human brain, as explained in one of my earliest posts, The Human Brain, is a very weak, fragile system. It was never meant to withstand anything so hardcore, such as the life we're living. And especially in the Tsar regime or the Dark Ages when it was one of the most HARDCORE periods in mankind history, people really could not depend on mere mortals such as one another.

They needed this THING, which had superpowers and could do any shit in the world, AND to top it off, loved you so much so he could actually USE these superpowers FOR you. And tadah, God.

There's a book I read long ago, which I frantically yet unsuccessfully tried to recall the title, which explains that God is like a dragon in the garage.

"There's a dragon in my garage. Oh you wanna see it? Well, it's actually invisible. So you can't really see it. But it's really there I swear. Oh you wanna touch it? Well, it's actually immaterial too so you can't really touch it either. But it's really really there!"

Better Better Better Better Better! Nah Nah Nah NananaNah

I don't really believe much in soulmates and all, but I do believe that there's that one special girl out there for me. Might not just be A GIRL, might be more, or might not even exist in the first place, I don't know. But it's sorta like THE ONE, sounding very much like the matrix but yeah. I think that ONE exists.

The ONE has to be a girl that I meet extremely outta nowhere, very randomly. And she has to be someone that fits my personality perfectly. So that I do not have to be someone else in front of her. Oh and she has to take the correct coloured pill to be THE ONE. She also has to make the right choice to save me from falling from a building after getting multiple bullet holes on my abdomen.

No, I am not trying hard to be funny. And most definitely, no I am not trying to advertise my singlehood and attract ladies which I pretty much predict would not be the case anyway in the first place because I look like a sock ball. I'm just blogging that's what I'm doing.

What I do believe in however, though a well-known sceptic that I am, is fate. I do believe in fate and destiny, and the "it was all meant to be this way" kinda stuff. Idealistic, maybe. Or just hopeful. See because if you believe in fate, at least you have the hope that everything happens for a reason. Or is meant to be. Like "blessings in disguise and shit" and how "God works in mysterious ways". So at the end of the day, you still have that little hope that you are the winner. Or will be sooner or later.

Well I certainly hope things get better.

Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

I must have a thing for not doing exam questions because I accidentally left out 1 question, and had no time to do another today.

So 2 questions blank, and I saw my A fly out of my exam paper zoom, hit my on the back of my head pow, and away.

And I was so confident I was gonna get an A again. Oh well, pride comes before a fall, I hope I learnt my lesson from this.

Physics is gonna be GG as well.

Oh and I still haven't forgotten. I'm still gonna ask for her number. The only question is when.

Soon I'd say. Soon.

Ah, and I officially got motivated by Darren to work hard for prelim 2. Of all things I never thought that would ever happen HAAH. Guess he has a way with words. And knows his shit about shits with the shits.

And A_____. You're a sweet girl. You really are.

Butcher Hands-up, Butcher Hands-up

Teenage angst? Kinda too old for that now.

I like to call this sheer obstinance.

Now you know I know that you know something about me knowing that you know that I know it. Whuuut?

The most beautifulest thing in the world, the most precious thing in the universe my love

I want to write a post about this girl I knew since time immemorial.

It's impossible for me to recall when I first met her. Maybe it's because it's such a long time ago, or maybe because I just have really bad memory. Or that she never really did give me that much of an impression then.

But recently I chanced upon a few photographs of her during the times when I first met her and I realised how beautiful she was back then. And how I'm such a fool to know it only now.

Love. I'm too young to fully understand that word, or claim that I feel that way about someone. But what I do know is that I treasure her more than anything in the world, let alone myself. If I had a choice between cutting off my arm and letting her suffer from a cold, I'd gladly cut off all my arms and legs, just to make sure she skips the next few colds as well. When I was youngER, I used to have a hope that I'd die before her so I don't have to bear the agony of sending her up. Selfish of me yes, but back then I thought it'd be impossible for me to bear that pain. And that hasn't change a bit since.

I also definitely know one thing for sure. She loves me, just as much, but not much more because that's practically impossible. She gives me strength, hope and happiness.

Because I've known her for so long, it's hard to make out how much of a beauty she is. "Too used to it", that's what I'd say. But still, in my eyes she is the most beautiful woman on Earth. Was always, will ever be.

The Great Escape

The best news I've ever heard in, God, I don't even remember...

A ticket, or at least a glimpse of it, was given to me a few days ago. A ticket to escape.

Escape from all these nonsense. All these crap.

A damn wasteland. That's what it is.

And finally I have a reason to work my ass off now.

Governments (Post might be deleted anytime)

Compare the current Korean government under President Lee Myung Bak, and Singapore's PAP government, and I'd definitely give my vote to the latter. Because both of them constructed a totalitarian/dictatorial regime, but it took me longer to find out the latter did so.

Definitely much more elaboration is needed, but I don't want to sound like a left wing hardliner, neither do I want a knock on my door from the office.

Words of Wisdom Yet Again

Humans are like fruits. Just give 'em time, and sooner or later, they'll all turn bad.

Snakebite

Speaking poniards. Yes, Shakespeare was indeed a genius.

Because that's exactly what she does.

Her every word stabs. Oh yes they do.

But I won't call them daggers. I much rather prefer the word

Snakebite.

Because at first it only hurts.

But then as time passes, the pain gets worse. Until a point whereby the pain gets fucking excruciating. Insufferable agony.

Until you cannot take it anymore and just shrivel up and die.

Just like that.

Another innocent die in your careless endeavour to rant out your own frustration.

Fun isn't it?

Dream

I have a dream, to quote the late African Americans activist Martin Luther King Jr. in his famous speech of the same title.

Haven't had one of those in an extremely long while.

Now that I have one, let's get it started eh?

Time to kick some asses.

Time to start being me.

English Language

Oh, God, my English.

My English is practically garbage.

I saw a video of an interview of a convict currently incarcerated somewhere in the states, and he was a repeated offender for traffiking and consuming drugs. And this brother spoke better English than I did.

For pete's sake, I can't even out-talk a drug dealer? WHAT THE FUCK!

If I knew this was going to happen, I would have smoked weed instead of attending grammar classes, seriously. It's as if my whole acedemic career was all in vain. Like it meant nothing. No value. ZERO.

*Edited*

Erm, no offence to any drug dealers/convicts/ex-convicts out there reading this post, I think you guys are really nice people please don't kill me.

The Human Brain

The word "yawn" can actually cause people to yawn. It induces the human brain to actually start yawning. They say that yawning, although can be caused by weariness or lack of brain stimulation, it can also be caused by simply thinking about yawning. I just got reminded of this fact while reading the papers about the economy, where they mentioned something about a "yawning gap". So have you yawned yet after seeing so many yawns?

No?

Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn Yawn

Now you might not have yawned still, if you forced yourself not to (I think, because I yawned a numerous times just writing them), but now is the word yawn starting to look strange and foreign? I honestly do not know what causes that, but I know it has something to do with the human eye and brain being too damn inapt. Yes apparently they are so incapable that when a person reads a word, you are actually picking up the front letter and the back letter, and sort of "guessing" the words in between. For example, given the word, let's say umbrella.

UMBRELLA, the eyes sort of captures something like:

UM____LLA

Now, any douchebag can see that word is going to be umbrella. Nothing wheel of fortune about that. Then, the brain, being a brain and all, fills in the missing words, to make it:

UMBRELLA

Tadah. Well, before another example, how many Fs can you find in the following sentence?

FINISHED FLIES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS

2? 3?

Count again.

The answer is 6. What the brain does is it actually omits the word OF, since it's not that significant to it for some reason, and "assumes" its presence instead. Which sort of brings me back to the point a made few days ago. The human brain thinks it's so smart. No, HUMANS think that their so smart. When in fact, a subtle test like the above optical illusion can fool them all.

Stop overestimating yourselves you ape-descendant imbeciles.

Knowledge Is Power

Giacomo Casanova, more widely known as simply Casanova, is a Venetian (that's what people in Venice are called I think) writer/adventurer from the 18th century. But of course he was not exactly J. K. Rowling of the 1700s, and was pretty well known for something else other than his literature. Or should I say infamous. After all, the only book he wrote was a semi-autobiography of his life.

Yes, Casanova the great womanizer. The greatEST. But he was not exactly the hunkiest guy in town, which is actually quite a common misconception amongst many. Yeah, apparently he was one of those short, average looking guys (Short people rule, baby! I mean literally. Just look at Napoleon). Why women always fell for him was due to his great charm and charisma. Apparently he was quite witty and intellectual as well (being a writer and all).

And then there's Don Juan. Although fictional, he was also one of the great womanizers, or in a more contemporary term, playboys. However, he is always constantly overshadowed by Casanova in terms of their "ability". Afterall, not many know Don Juan as much as they know Casanova. Why? I don't think it has anything to do with the issue about fictional vs non-fictional character. Afterall, batman never fails to be preferred over the neighbourhood police (unless you're being mugged then yeah better pray one of them police passes by).

They say that it's because, although Casanova and Don Juan both have had countless women in their lives, Casanova loved each and every woman he was with, despite the rather short-termed relationships, unlike Don Juan.

Maybe that's why so many people relate Casanova to PASSION, instead of YOU-THINK-YOU'RE-SO-GOOD-WITH-WOMEN-WHY-DON'T-YOU-GO-FUCK-YOURSELF, which might have been a more probable scenario. Especially for the countless women he was with. On the contrary, he is actually called THE WORLD'S GREATEST LOVER.

I thought there were few things worthy of learning from Casanova. No, not on how to be a manwhore, but how he actually acted out of passion and sincerity, despite being a philanderer. Being a Christian myself, I guess it's natural for me to put in much importance on LOVE. Since they always say that "God is love".

Also, quoting from the very famous Youtube slut Hotforwords, Knowledge is beauty (or some shit like that, I can't even believe I'm actually quoting her). There's also a Harvard saying that goes: Study an extra hour, and your future wife's face will change. The point being, knowledge is truly power, and to know more I need to start studying.

Beating around the bush for so long but once again it ends up like this - me helplessly trying to urge myself to study.

L-L-Lil W-W-Wayne

Eminem

Mozart

the Beatles

Lil Wayne

Which one's the odd one out?

Lil Wayne, because the rest of them are musicians.

World Peace

No, I have not been studying for the past few weeks.

Yes, I am regretting it dreadfully.

No, I don't plan to do anything about it.

Yes, I know its implications/consequences.

No, I do not give a rat's ass.

What's interesting is I realised how much I love the mundane, routined, cognitive lifestyle. I wake up, brew myself some coffee, open up the newspaper to see some news about some crap being bombed, or some nuclear-crazed North Koreans making entitled threats... whatever.

And then I move on to have my breakfast, maybe some bread or authentic Korean food. Most of the time the latter.

And then the usual dim-dee-dee-da-dee-dee-dums happen, and that's pretty much how my day has been for the past week.

AND I LOVE IT!

Because it keeps me away from... thinking. Yeah, I think that's everybody's problem. We think too much. Humans, think too much. Although we proudly claim that it's something that segregates us "mighty" human beings from mere low-life animals.... really? Is that really true?

I don't know. If people didn't think so much, there wouldn't be so much damn problems to think about in the first place. There won't be no more economic problems and plummets in the stock market. Hell, there won't even be an economy, let alone a stock market. Think about it. Think about it!

No more economy equates to no more rich people. Yeah, boohoo. But it also means no more bankrupcy, no more getting-shit-from-whoever-that-is-no-better-than-you-just-because-he-got-more-money. No more Bill gates, no more Warren Buffet, but at the same time no more hungry children in Africa.

No more politics means no more Obama, no more PM Lee, no more great presidents (IF there would be anymore of those people in the first place). But also means no more war, no more terrorism, no more FUCKING NUCLEAR RESEARCH. Imagine that.

Yes, it sounds really hippy-ish, and very much like the lyrics from the John Lennon song "Imagine". But no I am not currently listening to the song nor did I do so anytime in the past months. But as communist-ish as it sounds, it's really the sad sad truth. People are killing themselves. Ourselves.

How did a simple description about my morning turn into a insipid talk about world peace, I don't know.

Today's a nice day. Not too hot. Maybe I'll get my fat ass off my chair and enjoy the breeze for a while.

Education = Money?

If someone jabs up a mike under my nose and asks me this following question in the typical BBC news reporter tone: "Why do you put up with your studies?" I'd be taken aback. Not in aghast, not in hesitation to answer, and most definitely not because I hate the cocky british accent they all have, but because I honestly do not know the answer to that simple question.

And the more I look around to find companions to board this sinking boat of mine (from the commonly used phrase "we're on the same boat"), I end up in a state of self-contempt and despair. Because everyone else seem to know their goals, their purpose, their reason for clocking in regular excruciating hours everyday to invest in their studies.

I actually had a conversation with my friend about this, and he gave me an idea of his which got me thinking...

HS: Why do you study?

DT: For my future. It's quite obvious aint it.

HS: Well, you'd be surprised.

DT: To me right, there are many reasons why people study. Some study for their parents, some for their future, some to just get along with life, some to fulfill society's norm. But if you're wondering "why study?" Then I'd say if you're confident enough to make money even without educational qualifications, then go ahead.

HS: Mmm, yeah but I disagree with that last bit. Because studying is not all about making money, its about self-enrichment too.

DT: Yeh, but to me, studies is just a passport to get something. And that something is money. For you it might be of actual value, which I can't contend with, but in general, everyone does it for money. I mean it's only logical to say education = money. ONLY LOGICAL.

HS: That's a rather harsh remark. Not to me but... on the educaton system.

DT: It's the truth. The market demands for a certain role, you study to be that thing that fits that certain role.

HS: Hmm, so let's say you already have all your certificates/qualifications/documentations... whatever. Let's say you have a graduation cert of Harvard University. BUT knowledge level equivalent to a kindergarten student.

DT: You'd still be able to achieve wonders. Because of network. Because you have a harvard cert.

HS: Yeah, but everyone knows you didn't earn it.

DT: So? You still have it. It's like, people who go into MIT by material means, they still have their MIT cert, no different from anyone else. They still get treated the same way, no different from other MIT grads. When they WORK, that's a whole different story.

HS: Well, I think there's a reason why Shaq took up MBA. When he was already so damn fucking rich.

DT: Maybe he wants to experience something new?

HS: No, I think it's more about self-pride. Self-enrichment.

DT: That's when you already have lotsa CASH and you got practically nothing to do. WE students don't have lotsa CASH.

HS: I'm just saying... maybe education ain't always equivalent to money and money only.

DT: Yes, but at our level son, I'm afraid it is.

HS: HAHA, good one. In that case, fuck school, Ima go sell weed.

Maybe I'm being too idealistic. Just felt like sharing.

Headlines

Don't know how many Innovians saw it, but if you read the papers today, and are those type that pay close attention to the photographs (like me, yeah for some reason I do), you would have seen a very familiar face in the headlines (unless you're one of those that have a severe detachment from physical education)

Yes, it was Mr Lee, our very own PE teacher/national olympian. He is seen holding up the Singapore flag, looking rather delirious with his usual charismatic and photogenic smile. Didn't really read the article though.

New start

So, I've decided to start this blogging thing again.

It's the June holidays and I'm supposed to be spending time studying, but since when things ever work out the way you want it to be?

And I'm not just talking about my failed holiday schedule here.

But guess that's life huh?

To me life's very much like my first experience with roller skates. I never did get any control over how I moved about, and occasionally, no quite frequently, fell and hurt myself.

Except in life, unlike skating, there's no such thing as getting the hang of it. I'll never seize control. I'll always fall, always hurt myself, always bleed.

But I can't fault the skates, I can't fault the slippery ground. I only have myself to blame for being such a klutz that I am.

But I really don't want to hurt anymore. I want to stop falling down, stop scraping my damn knee, and standing back up just to repeat the vicious cycle all over again.

So I'm officially giving up. Throwing in the towel - well in this case since the metaphor - the skates. That way, I won't be able to learn how to skate no more for the rest of my life, but at least I'm not gonna get anymore bumps and bruises.

A new start, without those goddamn skates.

That's right.

Like how reptiles shed their skin. Or how caterpillars undergo metamorphosis to become butterflies. Lots of metaphors today; must be feeling "LIT" again. Or emo. Whichever.

Very personal blogpost. Hope'ts gonna be different the next time round.
