Race

Each step I take towards you, my mind says no but my heart says yes.




Alas, we've finally reached the final lap, no, final 100 metres of the Junior College race. The last hurdle we face in the two year course, the big As, is finally in sight.




But I can't help but look back.




And realise.




Maybe there are more important things in this world than this race.




I'm just gonna have to compete in another one.
